Artist, Actor and Animal lover
Like so many, the pandemic got me hooked on TikTok. However, I slowly found myself craving long-form content with less overstimulation and revisited the OG social video app - Youtube. I was relieved to see that a few familiar faces from the art and film community had the same idea and sought to create it. I've been so inspired by all the incredible artists and content creators on youtube and, after far too long as an observer only, I started my own channel! And you guys... we have already surpassed ONE MILLION VIEWS. I cannot thank those of you who are already part of the community enough. Read on if you want to know what I've been up to and what to expect moving forward.
Paint with me!
A huge part of why I wanted to start this channel was to share my love for art. I'm lucky enough to be able to share and sell my work online, but I the real joy is in the process. I see painting as therapy - a form of meditation. Every stroke of a paint brush or palette knife is an exploration of what's on my heart at the time. I love sharing snippets of my abstract art process and hope it might inspire you to take a moment to enjoy the look and feel of how paint moves across a canvas. With the endless scroll, I find conscious mindfulness practices to be more important than ever and hope that my videos with help you come back to your body for a moment and inspire you to pull out your art supplies for a quick studio session. <3
My next art project is a big step for me, and I'm excited to share more with you as I go.
Animals!
As many of you know, I am a proud mom to a cat named Evey, dog named Peanut, and hedgehog named Henry. I've also made friends with the neighbourhood raccoons. SO, as a result, I have more adorable pet moments caught on video than I could possibly know what to do with. I needed somewhere to share them so that I'm not the only one awwww-ing at my screen. I've also made "fur baby" and "raccoon" playlists so you can scroll through the shorts more effectively (ie: you can watch ten hedgehog videos in a row if you need to remember what happiness feels like).
I've always been interested in animal and wildlife photography and would LOVE the opportunity to collaborate with (insert specific camera brand) one day - but no free namedropping until then. ;)
Bailey Colors
I'm very grateful for those who've taken an interest in my career, as an artist and actor and human. I know that I tend to move through the world wearing armour made of my creations but I have come to recognize the value of sharing one's journey through transparency and vulnerability. I would love to share more of myself and my life and am exploring how I would like to do so through a medium like youtube. I have some ideas that I think you just might enjoy the f out of. Stay tuned.

I'm so excited to see where this channel goes - evolution is inevitable and I'm already thoroughly enjoying where we're at today. I love reading your comments, but can also appreciate a quiet back-of-the-theatre observer as I have been one myself.
