Abstract Paintings & Prints
Though I've painted throughout my life, the pandemic provided the perfect environment to lose myself in it as photography services and acting were at a stand still overnight and no longer demanding my attention. I finally had time to revisit my previous work and photograph it (I'm not the biggest fan of scanning, even though it can be faster). I started sharing some of my paintings on my photography instagram account and was fortunate to connect with a beautiful community of artists revisiting old or neglected mediums, ramping up their art businesses, or introducing an art practice into their life for the first time. I'm incredibly grateful for the love and support of this community, and for everyone following my art and my journey in general. I'm excited to say that I will finally be moving from referrals and cash sales in my DMs to scaling up production through my online store! In addition, I am working on a large collection of works to share in person only for gallery exhibitions.

Original Artwork for Exhibition
Nothing will compare to seeing art in person in a gallery. Pamphlets and merch don't quite capture the experience of standing before of a painting and that's okay. I personally find the pressure to share all of my work and processes and business behind-the-scenes online exhausting and I have set boundaries for myself to ensure that I don't feel like I'm pouring paint into my phone as a tithe to the social media gods. I have many pieces that I keep for myself or the people who can see them in the rooms they exist in. (I can't tell you what makes it a piece for "offline" beyond a feeling in my gut.) There are also pieces that I do want to share, but not sell - or at least not at this time. For this purpose, I have dedicated a space on my website for art available for exhibition in art shows. I look forward to adding more as I go, as I love the space in between secrecy and monetization.
Prints Available for Sale
There are also pieces that I love in a way that makes me want to share them with everyone - pieces that I would love to see absolutely everywhere and that I hope bring people joy wherever they keep them. In my artshop, I aim to provide large scale works as well as prints that can easily add something special to smaller spaces. It's been quite a journey, and I am excited to be selling art this way.
